Illuminated door sills are blinking…
Hi guys,
I just added the illuminated door sills on my 2019 S205 with using the following part numbers: control box A2229000308 and wiring harness A2138206702
The problem is both sides doesn’t stay illuminated all the time. They blink sometimes together, sometimes alternately…
Is there possibly any coding required to fix this?
I bought all of it new directly out of the original Mercedes store.
Normally they only should light up when you open the door in like a highlighting way. They should light up and dim down a bit as a welcome.

Did you connect it to the correct wires? It looks like you are connected a CAM wire which does not like to be connected to. Did the sill comes with the instructions? My car already came standard with the light sills and I replaced them with the AMG ones as these were suppose to be fitted.

Unfortunately I had to place a wiring harness because mine didn’t came with the illuminated door sills.
