Alright everyone, idk why I was nervous with this install but this by far was the easiest thing I've done with the Car and MAN OH MAN does it make a HUGE difference!!! It did feel little weird the few couple drives only because I kinda used that trackpad almost like a wrist support.

Bare with me, idk how to do the fancy write up with images in the actual writeup instructions so I do apologize about that.

Lets start!!

Here is side by side comparison of both the controllers. You can see the "Trackpad" overlaps the knob and with my luck, my charging cable always ends up in-between that gap. (Image 6)

The back side of the controllers, you can see that all the plugs are identical, EXCEPT for the connector that would connect to the trackpad. This connector would just stay unconnected when reinstalling everything. (Image 7)

I assume everyone knows how to take the center console off so I'm going to skip that step. I do recommend disconnecting all the cables that are connected to the controller as well as the cigarette lighter connector. But this is because the image of the center taken of. (Image 1)

Once you have the center console flipped over, you can see that the center ash tray is in the way of removing the controller. So you have to remove 2 T20 screws to take off the ashtray (very very easy). Once the screws are off, it basically lifts off. (Image 2-4)

Now you'll have access to remove 4 T20 screws that hold the controller. Remove the screws and lift up to pull the controller off. (Image 5)

Once you have that off, you can place the new controller on and reverse install.
- 4 T20 screws to secure the controller
- Install Ash Tray
- 2 T20 screws to secure the ash tray
- Reconnect all disconnected cables (YOU WILL HAVE 1 CABLE THAT DOESNT FIT/CONNECT TO ANYTHING)
- Securely fit the center console and you should have what looks like this (Image 8)

All Done!

Again, sorry for not having the images in the write up. Def would've been easier! Hope this helps. Please let me know if you have any questions/comments!
