Sunroof W205 problem
Hello, i have a problem with my sunroof. Two months ago, i found that my slider guide on sunroof on driver side is broke. So i manually closed the sunroof and decided not used it. Meanwhile i ordered replacement made on 3D printer, just clip it in. But unfortunetelly my sunroof doesn’t open and sunroof motor made sound like machine gun. I tried open it manually, but roof not opek at all and the front part of the driver side, where slider guide is missing, remains stuck. Any suggestions?

Have you had any luck opening your roof ? Mine will only slightly open on driver side....I hesitate to force it on passenger side to avoid breaking the glass. Went to stealership and they quoted me $3100.00cdn to replace both rails even if driver side looks good. Complete ripoff they should extend warranty on these defective parts. I will probably trade it for BMW or Audi. And never again Mercedes. Good luck
