I spent the last 2 hours removing my bumper I’m order to install a new grille, yet am somehow
struggling with the easiest part of the whole
process:

I can’t disconnect my stock illuminated MB Star emblem.

I twisted it counterclockwise and have it free from the front end, but can’t un-plug it from the adapter right behind it. I tried pressing on the little safety latch on there, but it’s not budging at all, not even with pliers.

Is there a trick to it that I don’t have a feel for? Thanks I’m advance!

Looks like depress tab a bit more then twist (top part with red and brown wire) and pull.
