I’m wondering if this is an issue to cause concern or just regular under car dirt
the welded seam on the plate that holds my exhaust Tips in place looks like it has oil leaking from it
but could be road dirt kicking up in the rain and that’s the low point so is just gravity
My first assumption would be that either water from the outside or the condensation that forms inside the exhaust at ambient temperature and gets moved out when the engine starts and blows hot air in there is mixing with the exhaust soot and looking like oil.
The best way to determine if it's water or oil is to get some on your fingers and rub your fingers together. If it's slippery and doesn't dry on your fingers, light the car on fire and collect the insurance payout, lol.
Thanks a lot.
Now I will have to use plan b & “ let it roll off the cliff”
it doesn’t feel slippery when I pull it out tomorrow I can try to light it on fire oil will burn right 🤦🏻♂️🤦🏻♂️
