2015 C300 - #1 Piston destroyed engine. Now what?

#1 cylinder bad, 2 shops confirmed. One independent and one MB dealer.
Independent wanted $28,000 to replace the motor and the turbo.
The dealer is saying over $20,000. Plus, depending on the turbo.

I do have an extended warranty but it is capped at $3000 engine and $2000 turbo. Although the dealer says the warranty may be $6000. Either way it does not cover it.
Still waiting to hear officially what the warranty company will pay.
I have read the other posts and see people getting engines replaced for around $7000. I can't find a place that will do it for that or even close. I can find a few used engines with low mileage. Still they are around $7000 then I will have to pay to get installed.
What should a motor swap cost? Who will even do a Mercedes motor swap? Around here most of the shops are having problems finding enough help to even stay open!
I am in the Indianapolis area.
I still owe quite a bit on this car. I thought MB would be a good car I could drive for 200000 miles. This one is under 90,000 miles.

Sorry to hear about this, I didn't know that warranty caps the repair to $7000....
