c300 wagon so far
so I've had my wagon for many years now and I absolutely love it, its 2018 4Matic with amg line night pkg, wasn't planning on doing many or even any upgrades when I originally purchased but that changed over time lol.
first started off small with a window tint
when I saw all the different grills available how could I not change the front grill but once that happened the back looked too plain so along came C43 rear diffuser ..... Now the front didn't really match it needs a little something, needs a front lip! so I got a lip lol.
well now the front front has a lip the back should really have a spoiler too, right? so the rear deck got a spoiler.
You're probably thinking bet the middle bit looking very naked by now.... yes I totally thought the same thing, I should really get some side skirts or mud guards, I opted for side skirts I mean I really sortta had too it looked silly without.
Now that I've done all this is should really do something about the wheels so upgraded those to 19" multi spoke wheels..... Finally done * sigh of relief...........
was content for a while then I stumbled across this forum ...... CRAP! THERES SOOOOO MUCH MORE!!!!!!!
more shopping ensues.... * Thanks guys.
😜
so again staring small I add on vent pieces for air intake areas on the side of front bumper, actually found some grills with the extra pieces built in rather than the stick on ones also got some of those little flick thingy for the rear bumper vents.
Wait these cars can make make the Wonderfull turbo blow off sounds 🤯 ?! well I definitely need that so I added the GFB diverter valve, MST cold air intake and the charge pipe just for fun.
somewhere along the way I ended up swapping out the steering wheel, adding new mirror caps and star door puddle lights to all doors, even though I had decided I'm not going to mess with electrics or mechanical when i started off.
and that's how she sat for while
I had been considering doing the C63 front end swap for quite some time now but I could never find a reliable source for it, tried a few overseas places but they seemed flaky when it came down to shipping. so I had basically just put it on the maybe some day list...... annnd then along comes Mr. Keith66 and his extremely helpful thread
https://mbworld.org/forums/c-class-w...n-project.html
Not the front end swap I was planning on but you know what happens next....
annnnnd its done ...... for now..... maybe 😬

Ordered a carbon fiber black serie style hood from these guys https://rexsupersport.com/mercedes/c-class/w205/. it finally turned up and I'm very impressed and totally worth the wait.
fit and finish is very good, pretty close to factory.

I'm happy to hear the things I did was helpful to you... even though it's just more money to spend, lol.
I had a great experience with RexSupersport also and the parts I got from them were excellent.
Dude, what a cool journey of mods and I think you made great choices! Your car looks killer!

So I've had the C43 rear diffuser for while now and with changes made to the frontend I decided to give the rear a different look.. just installed the Brabus style diffuser.
The install was a pain had to modify all the body clips to get to fit, diffuser clips were way to thick and slightly off centre for the factory bumper. I still have to line up the tail tips, the C43 one was much simpler swap.

When I had mine off, I painted my mufflers with flat-black high-temp stove paint (spray can) and it made a huge difference hiding the mufflers.
A bit late for you to do it that way, but you should be able to get it jacked up and mask everything with plastic drop cloths or similar and spray the mufflers.
Sorry to point this out, but it's really killing the vibe seeing the mufflers IMO. My eyes go straight to the mufflers.
Feel free to hate me now, lol.

I just had this other thought; they make high-temp vinyl wrap for use on brake calipers, etc. That may be another "less destructive" option. Shouldn't be too difficult to cutout and wrap the muffler ends.
That's if you even care about it.

LOL! yeah I noticed that right away too, I'm probably gonna paint them when I take off the tail pipes and adjust them.
Didn't know about the hight heat vinyl that could be an option too thanks

Cool. Great job on the installation, looks perfect! (except for the tips of course)
I've always thought the Brabus styling clashes with the MB styling (just my personal preference), but it actually works on the wagon. This is the first one I've seen that didn't look out of place, nice!
I think the rear end height of the wagon makes it work better visually for me.
Also, I'm not certain what the muffler temps reach so you may want to look into that if you want to go with vinyl. It would suck to do that and end up with melted trash bags on your rear end. ;p

thank you, it was a battle to get this installed unlike the C43 one that simple clipped into place.
I think this style diffuser looks to bulky on some sedans/coups and looks out of place.... unless they have big fat meaty tires on the rear
works on the wagons just because of the size ....... now if it had big fat meaty tires tooo 🤤

Finally decided on a set of coilovers for the car, ended up going with Silver's NEOMAX , thanks to Keith66 for the suggestion 👍🏼 . I kept going back and forth with springs but no one seems to agree what part# to go with for the wagon and there's no guarantee on final ride height. Now just gotta find the time to install them, might just have to pay someone to get it done lol.

lol, yeah should keep me busy for while. im already on the sport suspension so won't be dropping much lower than where it sits right now, looking forward to messing around with damping adjustments.
How did the alignment turn out when you did the install for your car?

Cool. My caster and toe were unchanged, but because I dropped over 3 inches I ended up with way too much negative camber. I did a K-mac camber kit to correct the camber so I didn't have to buy new tires every ~5000 miles.
