Air suspension height difference
Hope someone can put my mind at rest or At least give me some answers. I have a 2014 c220 W205.
recently had a leaking rear drivers side airbag / air spring (car was lowering one side after 8ish hours)
Everything now seems fine. Car doesn’t lower noticeably at all. However there is a permanent height difference of 2cm between the drivers side and passengers side on the rear suspension (new bag sits 2cm lower) I hadn’t noticed this in the 1 year I have had the vehicle. The mechanic that fitted the new spring mentioned it. Not sure if this is because I only had the one bag replaced? But saying that wouldn’t the new bag sit higher as it’s new?
also the air compressor kicked in this morning to raise the rear very slightly (car hadn’t been driven in around 13 hours so not sure if this is normal)
also worth mentioning both bags are genuine parts.
maybe I’m over thinking things…
