One spark plug is not like the others - w213 65k miles
I previously changed plugs at 3 years / 24.5k miles.
3.5 years later and 41k miles later, I decided to change them again. I was surprised how out of shape the #1 cylinder looks compared to the rest.
continues my thought on performing maintenance on time or ahead of schedule and maybe mitigating piston cracking.
pictures are in order of removal with the worst looking one coming from cylinder 1.
NGK's website says the E is superceded by the H, once stock is used up of the E to use the H.
The spark plug reach is increased, as well as the resistance in the new plug design likely to help with combustion, reduce risk of LSPI maybe? ie piston cracking. Curious what plugs were in the cracked piston cars.
