Check Engine Code P0456 & P2188
Just got a CEL on my 2019 C300 with code P0456: Evaporative Emission System Leak (very small leak). My car just got out of warranty so I wanna fix it myself. I tried a new OEM gas cap, but no luck there. I don't have a smoke machine so I'm just trying to isolate the problem little by little.
For context, my car also throws pending (not current) code P2188 (System too rich at Idle Bank 1) every time I fuel up the car and also revs for about 3 seconds due to the leak.
I suspect that it might be the purge control valve solenoid but I cannot locate it in the engine bay and found no info about it online. I want to pull out and test the valve to see if it's the problem.
Could someone please provide a WIS guide for its replacement and location diagram?
