Removing front seats
My Artico seat panel has split and I have an opportunity to swap the seats with leather ones. My car, a 2016 C250 premium plus, has full electric seats including heater and memory.
Two questions: How do you remove the seat belt from the outside of the seat with the seat tensioner. Can I access the Torx screw and tensioner sensor connector only after I have lifted the seat or is it possible to remove the cover on the air bag section?
I think I have to leave the battery connected until I have removed all four base bolts because I have to move the seat backwards and forwards to access the bolts. However, before I disconnect any electrical plugs I believe I should disconnect the battery to prevent any possible code errors after fitting the new seats?

Ok I have done it now. The cover for the "air bag" slides off backwards as in this video
. Its quite tough to slide. The belt does not have to be unbolted as there is a sliding bracket which is kept in place by a spring clip. The spring has the be lifted and the bracket can be slid forwards and disengaged from the bolt.
