Yes I know this has already been talked about, but there isn't really a guide for doing this. I've been researching this for a few days now, and this is what I have found out.
The connector for the analog clock is MB part number A0375456328. It is made by TE Connectivity their part number for it is 2-929169-1 the pin numbers are marked and for: pin 1 +, pin 2 -, pin 3 LIN for the time information. The third pin plugs into pin number 26 of the COC terminal of the SAM module located above the hood release. The COC plug is MB part number 001 545 49 40 also made by TE Connectivity part number 965348-1.
What I can't seem to find out is what is the metal female terminal that is inside the plug even called or what size they are?
The COC plug seems to have larger ones than the clock plug. TE's website only has a category named "Automotive Connectors"
Another question is where do I connect the power wires? It would have to be a place that has power even when the car has been parked for hours.
Where does Mercedes connect the wires on the clock to?
