Question Chrome Delete Help on 2016 C300 W205

Hello everyone this is my first post after being on this forum for a while. Got me into getting my car to look better. I wanted to start with a chrome delete on the door trims and later move on to other places. I was wondering what would be the best approach to this. To the people who did it themselves, would it be better if I went to a professional to get it done? Thanks for you help.

I've seen some people do 3m vinyl with pretty good results. Flexx Garage on youtube has a video on W205 vinyl install I believe. I would definitely go with a professional, it should be under $500 (assuming you're in the US) for everything from what other have said.

I was hoping to do it myself to save some cash but I think I might order the tape and try. Thanks.

And I was wrong, he actually uses a spray-on material. Interesting.

He remove the spray on and wrapped it after. IF you see his Video list you will see him remove the spray on and wrap it.

I did my own chrome delete on my 2018 C300. I got quality 3M gloss vinyl wrap from Amazon and applied it myself. I am happy with results. Only a couple minor flaws. I had no experience. I recommend watching a few videos to get an idea how. Took a couple hours for me. I recommend you to try it. Only thing to loose is about $50 and a couple hours of your time.

THis is what I used. It as stayed on for over a year now, no issue with peeling. Looks like OEM.
