So I’ve got a couple of issues with my A205 amg c63s. Plugged it into the scan tool and it’s showing an open circuit for the trunk lid / boot (sometimes once open it won’t latch close, I then have to hit the boot release button on the drivers side door. Then re-close it for it to latch).
I am also getting the reverse light warning on the dash, the scan tool said it has an open circuit. Both reverse lights in the trunk lid illuminate. So not sure what the fault is identifying?
any ideas of what to look at? What the issue may be?
I have checked the fuses in the trunk and all are fine.
i am also at times getting diff lock inoperable warning.
I’ve solved the driveline vibration by replacing the tailshaft with new centre bearing and both rubber flexi couplers.
I notice yesterday when replacing the tailshaft there is a wiring loom with a 3 pin plug at the back of the gear box not connected to anything. Any idea where this may connect too. The car does have aftermarket down pipes….
