C300 (W205) Need help with the solid rivets on suspension strut dome
Hi Everyone
Maybe some of you know what type of the rivets used on apron panel (Suspension Strut Dome) of W205 model 2019 year C300. I have indicated these rivets (red points) at the attached picture. It looks like as an aluminum solid rivet but I am not sure. If you know part number or any alternate fastener or type of the rivet, which can be used at this location, please share this information with me W205 C300 Suspension Strut Dome
Thanks in advance
Dear Cosworth2000, thank you for your reply. Do you have part number or any reference where I can find these rivets? I saw that some of the E-class models have the similar structure of the strut dome with rivets at this area also
When I replaced the door handle in my mother-in-laws B-Class, I thought I could use aluminum rivets however after reading, Mercedes uses steel rivets and a large rivet which you need to order. I can't remember the size but I know you will need a rivet gun which can manage both a steel rivet as well as a larger rivet.
