Is it possible for a rim to be perfectly balanced and not need weights?

Just had new tires mounted on my 2016 c300 w/ 18" amg rims. I noticed one rim has no balance weights. Is that even possible for it to be perfectly balanced or more likely the mechanic forgot to balance it? Haven't had a chance to go on the hwy to see if it vibrates yet but just curious if anyone else has seen something like this?

Statistically it would be possible...

Sure no weights glued behind wheel face on barrel?

Nope no weights anywhere. And surprisingly it doesn't vibrate at 85mph!

On my 997 Turbo the front wheels with MXX3 tires (years ago) always spun up perfect. So, yes. Good wheels and good tires. My E63 w/AMG rims takes far less weight than my E63 with after market wheels.

yes definitely possible! depending on how skillful the shop mechanic is, they can align the tyres to the wheels to the point where minimal weights are used. Sadly not everyone does it like this....
