Side mirror glass, versions, part numbers

Hi,

I did some searches.... but could not find any good info on the different versions of mirror glass. I actually have GLC (x253) but I hope itīs OK to ask here.

As you all know, the mirror glass can be very expensive. I found one at a local wrecker and bought it. They said it was the right part for my car which I have been informed from a dealership, requires part A 099 810 0516.

I have since cleaned the mirror glass I got from the wrecking yard and was about to mount it on my car, but noticed a small difference:
The "new" mirror is missing a wire/pin compared to the original mirror.

In the pictures, the mirror glass up top is the replacement mirror glass i got from the wrecking yard and the lower mirror is the original mirror glass.
Notice how there is one more wire going to the blind spot assist led/sensor thingamajig?

What is the difference? Can I just use the mirror with the missing wire and not lose any functionality? Probably not, right?

Also the pin on the connector is missing so there are only 4 pins, whilst on my original mirror all 5 pins are there.

Mirror glass on top of photo has one less wire coming from the blind spot warning module and one less pin in the connector.

Mirror glass look similar from this side.

All the part numbers are on a sticker that is now completely unreadable as you can see.

Do any of you guys know the difference between the different versions of mirror glass in the pictures?
Mounted to my car, there are no errors and the blind spot warning indicator lights up, but I have a hunch itīs less "accurate" and less "active" than before.

My car has the drivers assist package, so I suspect this might be a factor.

Any help much appreciated!

Thanks!
Great resource, with the list of part numbers from there, and searching e-bay for pictures, I found that I probably have the correct part even though it looks slightly different.
Maybe that pin I found is not in use, I mean itīs on the glass... but maybe not on the vehicle connector. If anyone knows about this mystery pin, please reply.

Hereīs the info I got so far, prices are just an indication of the features of each glass. This list could be incorrect, it is based on e-bay pictures.
