Additional Warranty for 2017 C300/w205
Our 2017 C300 has 29,000 miles. We bought it used and at the time, bought an EFG MAP service contract which is set to expire in one month. If anyone has had a claim for the wrist pin problem with this company, we would like to know your experience.
What is the current wisdom on a good company to sell us a new policy? I have asked EFG MAP if specifically the piston wrist pins are covered and they say if they aren't shown in the list, then they are not. They do list piston rings, pistons, push rods but not specifically the wrist pins for the usual problem which is why we want to have coverage. From others' discussions here, I see that if it isn't specifically listed, then it isn't covered, so I probably don't want to use this company again. When we bought the car, we were unaware of the wrist pin problem.
We would appreciate some advice.
