Symtoms of bad intermediate bearing?
Hi,
I have a "hoovering" sound in my car that comes around 25 km/h and gets louder around 50 km/h to the extent that i can fell a buzzing sensation in my steering wheel sometimes.
Im suspecting a bad intermediate shaft bearing in my oil pan, but the car as only 110.000km on it (68.000 miles). I see some peaple here have exhanged their oil pan bearing, what where the symtoms that made you do the figure out the bearing was the problem?
Car: 2016 C200 4 Matic.

Can't really answer the question as I do not know what that bearing sounds like, but to be sure- you are sure it's not the tire noise/vibration or balancing issue? I'd rotate the tires to make sure it's not that. Then it could also be a half-shaft(s), so I'd physically check that.
