Interior temp does not work properly

My 2017 C class sedan has a problem with the interior temperature. The ventilation system blows warm air into the cabin even though the outside temp is at 72F. I set the cabin temp at 67F and the air temp is more like 80F.Is it a thermostat issue? My car is more than 7 years old but has only 54K mile.Does anyone has this issue with the C classs sedan?
