2016 C300 OEM+ Build

My W212 E-Class ended up being rear ended, totaling the car and started to look into a replacement.
Found this 2016 C300 4MATIC, with 133,000KM. Strangely, this car had Heads up Display, Airmatic, 360º Camera, Distronic, as well as Real Leather.
Only options missing were Rear and Side Sunshade, and Passenger Seat Memory Package ( Plus Ventilated Seats), otherwise a fully optioned car.
- 890 Cavansite Blue (Lunar Blue for USA) on Grey Leather.
Car looked a little bit rough, a few dents all around the car, it was pretty clear this car lived outside most of its life; dirt around the crevices', the parcel shelf being faded, and faded front panoramic panel.
Overall, the car was in good shape, car had full service history at Mercedes, had its Air compressor replaced, A/C Condenser replaced, and refrigerant refilled.
Things that needed to be addressed:
- Faded Parcel Shelf
- Faulty Trunk Motor
- Dents
- Rear Tires (Camber Wear)
- Front Headrest Broken
- Flickering Illuminated Door Sill
- Fuel Cap
- Wipers
- Interior Detail and Paint Correction
- Front License Plate Bracket
- Front Differential Leaking
- Rear Door Handle Lights Out (2)
- Front Lower Control Arms
- Window Switch (Broke 2 Weeks Later)
- ILS+ Coding
- Don't Forget Key Coding to EU
- Adaptive Brake Lights
- EU Distance Warning
- EU Seatbelt Warning
- Video In Motion
- Map Update
- Night Package 19" Wheels
- Roof Rack
- Rear Diffuser
- Typing in Motion

Ended up painting the Parcel Shelf with SEM Color Coat - Satin Black 15243
Found a New Illuminated Door Sill for $150 as the ribbon cable had snapped.
Found a set of W205 19" Wheels, they seemed a bit rough and decided to get them refinished for a pretty penny.
But here they are after ceramic coating them:
Debating between which center caps to use on the car... MY16's got the Wreath...but with the Roof Rack it seemed a bit too busy, ended up with the Classic Star
Replaced the Front Grill with a Night Package One, didn't want to hide the fact that this is a C300 still. Since I got the one from a car that didn't have the 360º Camera, had to Dremel it a bit to modify it and transfer the gloss black trim to the 360º (Original Grill) Bracket.
Found a Diffuser for a C450/C43 and got it for $20, I looked in the box the seller gave me and was surprised to find the exhaust tips as well.
Some steel wool cleaning and they turned out really new
Here they are on the car:
Interior all cleaned!
Found a set of C43 Front Lip parts, that would match the rear
Shortly after installing the pieces, someone hit us in the parking lot. The piece was short lived.....

I initially polished the set with 210 Series II's and ceramic coated them with Gyeon but wanted to try out the Sottozero 3's, went down the rabbit hole of claying and polishing the barrels, center caps, and valve stem caps and did a spray coating of Ceramic; CarPro Reload. A lot of wheels to say the least!

Took off all the door panels to place rubber washers for the clips that hold on the wood trim piece.
Low end rattle is gone but songs like 7 Rings by Ariana Grande still persist with rattle, including the front dashboard center speaker.
With that being said, I also applied Tessa tape to misc. parts to help with random interior rattles like the B-Pilar panel, really helped for padding.

Front Bumper was repainted, along with the left front lip piece, and license plate bracket replaced. Got the Mirror Covers painted as well in color code 040 for night package while the car was in the shop. Plan to wrap the window trims for the semi-night package look.
