C-class e350 tailgate malfunction - replacement part help

Hey, I’ve got a C-class e350 2017 and the auto tailgate isn’t working properly.

Initially, my mechanic said it was just faulty wiring and would replace the cable, however when he contacted Mercedes they said you can’t get a replacement cable on its own, you have to get the whole tailgate mechanism as the cable comes attached with it.

They quoted £275 for the new part. I don’t want to be spending too much as I’m about to sell the car so I was looking at sourcing a second hand part.

A company I’ve been in contact with said they had a second hand part in stock but when it arrived it was just a new boot lock. This was really annoying as I’d clarified with them that I needed the whole mechanism plus cable for the auto tailgate and they confirmed that was what they had.

Second time calling, I went over it again and they apologised for the mix up and sent out another package. But again what they’ve sent doesn’t look right as there’s no cable.

they’re now asking me for photos of what I need and whether the cable that I need has plugs on it that clip in. I’ve got no idea.

Can anyone help please with any photos or specifics that will help me source a correct second hand me his and cable?

Ive attached a photo of what they’ve sent me today.
