Need Help w205

I have a massive loss of power and it is pinging the check engine light and the code is P2279. It sits at about an 50 to 80% loss of power, but every once in a while it kicks back on randomly to full power. I’m not super mechanically inclined. I did have Berger intake put on this car. I cannot identify where the mass airflow sensor is and I have done everything. I know that I sound dumb and this is retarded, I just need help. Can someone please provide a picture to show where that is located?

On Mercedes any repair is much more cheap compared with non-premium brands because the Fault Codes can help a lot before making any spending. But not the generic fault codes, like Pxxx.

In your case, if you can find a decent scaner capable to read specific Fault Codes and Freeze Frames like Pxxxx-xxx

P2279-84 - A leak was detected in the intake air system. There is a signal below the permissible limit value.

P2279-85 - A leak was detected in the intake air system. There is a signal above the permissible limit value.

My reply is generic..., not necessary for you but for anyone interested. My advice for you is to try to install the original parts back or to add more info about your car.
