Greetings to everyone.
I have the possibility of purchasing a Mercedes C200 1.6 136 hp AMG from 01/2028 with 32k kms from an uncle of mine in Portugal for a fair price or €3 thousand below market price.
The advantage here for me is the fact that it only has 32 thousand km (I have no doubt that they are real, I know my uncle well). But my question is with the engine, being a 1.6 136hp engine with the Renault block... would it be a good option? Did this motor has a positive and reliable track record?
I looked for reviews about this engine version but I found very few with opinions like "if it has good maintenance, it lasts like the others"
thanks in advance.
Have a great 2025

C class with a Renault engine? Are you sure? C200 1.6l? Nevertheless I would say no. C200 amg line German built is a yes and no French fries inside.
