cooling fan running when turned off
Hi all.
I have a problem with a 2015 c220d bluetec. quite often the fan will run continuously after switching off. It can happen when cold and will run the battery down. I have looked at a few videos and we have been told also, that it could be that the aircon gas is low, and it's a safety feature?? Also seen on video that it could be an overcharging battery. Battery was replaced a couple of years ago. didn't change the aux battery. cannot find out exactly what that's for, as I have heard it's also called a 'voltage converter'?? the car is a manual box. Not sure which or even how many things control the cooling fan speed. when it runs, it runs fast. any help appreciated.

Hmmm, isn't the first one an aux battery code? Maybe changing the aux battery might indeed solve your issue, if your car is the same as some MBs, it is located beneath the passenger side footwell under the carpet or something or close to the cabin air filter.
