2019 C300
Transmission service
I have a 2019 C300 4matic with 23,000 miles. I can't determine if the service interval is by time or mileage. Is this something I need to get done? Thanks

dull story, but I found it interesting - what can I say, I’m a dull man:
my 5 year service is due and I was sure I am due for the A7 (5 yr or 125,000km transmission service as per the maintenance sheet). However my car has alerted me to only A service this time. My car has 55k km/34k miles so far.
seems like MB has probably sent mine an OTA update to change the atf minder to mileage based as discussed elsewhere on this forum.
anyway my plan is to do the atf service at 65k km/ 7 years at my trusty Sprinter/Vito independent specialist shop.

Yes, that's my plan. Was considering doing it myself but will most likely have it done at an Indy shop. Would love to diy but my days of working under the car my garage have passed.
