Creaking dash on C300 Convertible
The issue we have is a creaking/cracking sound coming from the left hand side at the front of the dash when the front wheel/s go up a kerb or drop into a rut in the road, so when the chassis twists a little (being a convertible this is deemed normal)
Does anyone have any experience of this type of noise as I don't want to pay to take out the dash when it could be something else, there anything behind the dash that could cause this? It happens when the hood is up or down as I checked, I initially thought it could be be the roof moving and creaking.
Any help would be gratefully received.
