W205 2015 C400 Oil Level Electronically?

My car has the dipstick and oil is at the minimum level. I want to know how many quarts of oil are in the car.

Back in February. The engine, hot, showed at the maximum level so I’m just really surprised with no warning ⚠️ light?
Previous models, you could access it using a combination of buttons, but I can’t find this information.

Ok found it. you need to be on the mileage screen and then press OK + Phone accept. I presume to get the oil level I gotta let it cool down so it drains and then it will give me the level.

This engine does not have an oil level sensor, it does have a float so it activates a warning "Check oil level at next refueling" if it dropped below the minimum, however it will not throw any message no matter how overfilled you are because there is no sensor to detect that and that oil level display will never work on this engine, it will on certain four cylinders with actual oil level sensors. European four cylinders, facelift M264 as well.

Surprising considering it was pushing $60k. I went to my indy mechanic and it was $107. Young guy had it done in 25 min. Drained it from underneath. I would definitely like to start doing it myself but don’t have a garage yet.

Thanks for the info. Very helpful as usual.

You're welcome. If you want to DIY oil changes don't hesitate to use a quality extractor, as you know, that is the method WIS calls for, for the M276 anyways.

I've read that but don't have access to WIS. The drain plug can wear out or damage the oil pan threads. Not sure if the pan is aluminum or plastic.

Got to do a deep dive on a good extractor. I will update later...
