Dealers are limited by regs in what they can sell you now vs a standard autoparts store. This is likely for all shops due to disposal regs. Mercedes has also upgraded their recs to say the new pink fluid is compatible with the blue fluid. Id suggest just topping off with whatever is currently in there, purchased from an autoparts store. The main difference is supposed to be that the new fluid lasts longer. If you need a copy of that rec of compatibility, lmk and ill look for it. I have a 13 and just went through this on my '13.
I got a warning light that coolant was low on the car three days ago. I didn’t notice the engine temperature rising so I didn’t address it immediately.
The passenger side coolant reservoir is empty.
So I let the car cool down for about five or six minutes slowly opened it and filled it.
Hopefully, there’s no damage to the car, but I’m really disappointed that MERCEDES didn’t specify which coolant reservoir!
I had no idea they were too coolant reservoirs on this car!
Low-temperature circuit reservoir: This smaller reservoir is part of a separate, low-temperature circuit for cooling components like the turbocharger intercoolers.

it says MB approval 325.6. The manual says use MB 325.0 or MB 326.0 corrosion inhibitor antifreeze.. so given that this coolant is in between that it be fine 🪿
