Ignition coils
Hey has anyone used the delphi ignition coils part number gn11053 on their w205 engine m246 engine? Rock auto has them for $54 each vs mercedes $73 each or Meru $94 each. Im sure ive seen several posts saying all three brands are essentially OE.

Nope nope nope. All three most certainly are NOT OE. To that, I have purchased parts from Rock in the past that I seriously wondered if they were even from the brand that is on the box (as opposed to China knock off's).
I just ordered some for one of my cars...can NOT complain about the price of 8 plugs and Ignition coils (all with lifetime warranties)

So apparently my specific car uses borg warner coils which is im assuming the brand labeled as “genuine mercedes” although even Mercedes parts website doesn’t specify what brand it is. But a little research does say that Mercedes frequently uses Bosch, Delphi, and Beru. Not meru like i said earlier, in a wide variety of their vehicles. So if Mercedes trusts delphi then i will too. My one and only other purchase through rock auto went well so hopefully they are actually delphi coils. No reason to suspect they wont be
