Car has no power

I saw somewhere it could be the wastegate but im told its working fine, the bladder isnt caught or anything. I dont want to buy a new turbo and manifold.so what would it be?

Did you scan the vehicle for codes?

Hmmm no wonder you first suspected wastegate, yes I seen that reported several times on the forums for the W205 with the M274, it was indeed the waste gate. Even if it seems fine it might still be the culprit, that said, I found this video

I would try that first even if they told you it isn't, or find a different shop, it is still the cheapest fix compared to a turbo like you mentioned, worth a shot. I might suspect they purposely lied to rip you off so getting a second opinion makes sense.

Mechanic said it has to be timed to engine? I also got a y3/8n4, cide, I assume thats a new tcm
