Voice command of Navigation has become useless

Voice command of Navigation has become useless
Now, when I speak to my car it comes back with very limited information. For example, "navigate to Starbucks" brings up towns that sound like Starbucks. It seems to no longer connect to internet search. All of my digital subscriptions are active.
Is there any way to reset/retrain this? I used to find it very useful. Thanks.

Thanks, I'll try that but I have tried many other voice commands that I know once worked well. It seems that anything that requires an internet lookup is now failing. The response options only come from the onboard navigation database.

I can't verify this for you as I decided to let my subscription run out and just use CarPlay for the occasional navigation need. But the online search service may have an outage. This has happened in the past and the symptoms were exactly as you describe. The service eventually came back and it all started working again. It hadn't happened in a while before I decided to not renew my subscription, but I experienced this a few times early on with the car. Not much you can do other than waiting for them to bring the service back online.
FWIW, I never used this very much. I generally looked up destinations on my phone and then sent them to the car.

The local voice recognition isnt capable of understanding such commands, it sends it to the cloud and gets a response with the correct adress.
When you give such a voice command notice that it will say online search on the screen.
This does require some paid services to be active however you are now the third to confirm thats its suddenly stopped working.
I have the same issue and went trough extensive troubleshooting with Mercedes Me but the moment it became clear it wasnt an issue with the car or my services they completly stopped responding

This is unfortunately where I am now. It's approaching time to renew the digital subscription and, if this can't be fixed, I'll probably let it expire. It's my wife's car and she prefers Android Auto anyway. Thanks for your reply.
