Mercedes C300de 2021 (W205) – Automatic parcel shelf doesn’t lift when trunk opens
Hi everyone,

I have a 2021 Mercedes C300de (W205) and I’ve noticed that the automatic parcel shelf / trunk cover doesn’t lift when I open the trunk.

The trunk itself opens normally, but the shelf just stays in place instead of moving up with it.

Has anyone seen this before or knows what could cause it? Broken cables, hinges, or some kind of linkage?

Any advice on where to start checking would be appreciated.
