Keyless Entry/Go not working - Key Track issue (UK)?

Hi,
I've owned my C250 for several years, but only recently discovered, after using an OBD2 tool (CarSoft) that the car might actually have Keyless Go.

One of the faults reported after a full scan was “Keyless Go CAN bus fault.” After investigating I found a blown fuse in the boot. Once I replaced it, the Keyless Go fault disappeared. That got me wondering whether the car is actually equipped with the feature.

I checked the VIN and it shows the car has both Keyless Go/Keyless Entry options. The door handles are also chrome with the sensor areas which seems consistent with the system being installed.

I then bought a start/stop button (as the car didn't come with one) that fits into the ignition slot but when I press it I get “Key not detected.”

When I run the Keyless Go test in CarSoft it reports “No key detected” on key tracks 1 and 2, but “Key inside vehicle” on tracks 3, 4, 5, and 6. Both of my keys appear to occupy tracks 3 onward. I'm not sure if that's just a CarSoft quirk, but the fact it reports “key inside vehicle” seems to prove they're Keyless Go keys.

My current theory is that the keys may not be the original ones and were programmed into tracks 3+ instead. From what I've read, Keyless Go may only work for keys programmed in tracks 1 and 2.

So my question is:
Is there any way to reprogram these keys to tracks 1 and 2 or otherwise move them from their current tracks? I don't have xentry or anything like that but am willing to spend a little if someone is able to recommend he software/hardware I may require.

Thanks in advance for any advice.
