Quick question

Probably been covered elsewhere…..hoping that the new C will NOT have the dreaded run flat tires. Can anyone confirm? Thanks.

It actually depends on the market, countries like UK sometimes offer summer or all season RFTs or non RFTs with a tirefit kit.

US market C sedans WILL have run flats

2014 C class

I was at a US dealer in New York today and they said the 19” wheels will come with summer tires only. Which will be a pain to change every winter and you’ll need to store the winter tires somewhere. The workaround is to buy the 18” wheels that come with all season tires. Has anyone got 18” and happy?

If you don't need the look, 18" is the way to go in terms of size, less susceptible to damage from pot holes. I specifically requested for 18s on my C 43 when the vehicle came with 19s.

If I must take run flats, I’ll redirect myself to the 430i Gran Coupe. It’s a fantastic driver.

You could always swap the tires afterwards but if you really like that BMW that much more then run-flats wouldn't had been the real reason why you decided on it.
