IT will look like this. Far different from the cranberry red leather in my 2020 C300.

@GSOTXL your car definitely does not have the upgraded sound system. I think the base sound system must actually just be really good. If your production number/vin ending is above 20000, that would be why - that's about when they stopped getting built with it.
Beautiful pictures! And awesome spec, the driving assist plus is a must have to me and the digital lights are going to be extremely rare in the US

I ordered the car end of May 2021. At that time in Netstar the Advanced Sound Package containing Burmester was ticked because I got the Pinnacle tier. Right about when the first production delay happened, pushing the date to October 2021, the Advanced Sound Package got dropped. I had hoped, naïvely, that with further delays in production the chip shortage would have been eased. The car was finally assembled in March 2022 and apparently wasted no time in getting to North Carolina for me to take delivery yesterday.

And what was interesting was that on the final build sheet, and the window sticker, Pinnacle tier is noted, but instead of any charge fit they tier, there are individual charges for the included packages and features. While I got a small credit for no hands-free trunk open, I didn’t get a credit per se for the Advanced Sound Package getting dropped. It just isn’t listed and the charge for it wasn’t included. Anyway, as skeptical as I was, the sound system I got is quite good.

New C-Class seats are definitely an improvement. I got to sit in one back when my dealer received a demo training unit and found them much more supportive and comfortable. With the W205 as well as X253 GLC that my wife had, I had consistent discomfort around my upper back and shoulder area due the design of the portion between the bolster and center of the seat back. I think the C43 and C63 had a slight difference in design which helped but not 100% sure, but in my wife's GLC and C-Loaners I always noticed the discomfort. The new 206 has better designed bolsters and seat back, much more supportive and comfortable, with less lumbar too (I prefer lumbar all the way in) so very happy with the change. Still hoping to eventually get some seat time behind the wheel for a drive! My dealer has no available units yet since they're all pre-sold. They should have some coming in for loaner status soon that I can drive.
Thank you for the detailed information on the bolsters, that is helpful. Looking forward to that review once you get your hands on one again : )

Thank you for sharing your experience with the vehicle, glad you had a chance to sit in one and try it out before. I am sorry to hear that you experienced discomfort in the GLC though : ( Do you think the W206 or X254 might be a candidate for the vehicle replacing your X253?

The GLC has been gone since last June when the wife replaced it with a GLE. She liked the GLC very much and I only drove the car a handful of times so the seats weren't a big issue especially since it was her car at the end of the day, but she really liked the I6 of my then CLS and loved Emerald Green so when our GM showed her one in the showroom it was game over for the GLC.

Is the position of the front license plate pre-determined by MB? Or, is it fixed onto front bumper by the dealer?
Its location is not very aesthetic.
I wonder, if it is possible or easily be moved to the center, making the front look symmetrical?
BTW, how is the bracket fixed onto the bumper? through some pre-drilled holes?
Great choice of body colour! My favourite silver!

Speaking of blue hue, that is a characteristic of diamond silver, I wonder how does it compare? I am guessing cirrus silver is basically high tech silver as well?

I don't notice blue hue. Looks like pure silver to me. I don't care much about colors. I had black one (not merc). It was hard to handle during summer. Decided to go for something bright and reflective. I don't like white either so silver was the choise.

Cirrus Silver can have hints of blue in it depending on the lighting, however I think its really beautiful and classy. I've been seeing more and more new MB's in it and it looks very good in the flesh.
