Very happy with our new 2022 C-Class which we got yesterday.
The only issue I can't figure out is I am unable to get the Online Music to show up. I paid for in-car wifi and confirmed the Online Music is in the spec sheet for the car (see attached).
A quick search showed that maybe this service isn't yet available in the US? Or am I just missing something obvious? Right now I am stuck with playing music from radio or carplay/bluetooth -- would be great to be able to access Amazon/apple music without my phone. Any ideas?
I use online music. It works fine. You need to buy data plan from T-Mobile for this. Or your can use Wi-Fi hotspot on your smartphone. Or your home Wi-Fi (obviosly can use it on your driveway only). The bottom line is that it works with whatever internet connection you configure. At least for me. I have tried them all.
This is also not available in the Swiss Market where I purchased my S206. Even if the car is tethered to my phone WiFi the option is not available in the MBUX Menu. I asked my dealership and they confirmed it's not possible to have it. It therefore seems to be a country specific feature.
