The manual only makes one notice of the 48V battery, which is that it is high voltage and should be serviced at a dealer. My guess is they don't want you touching it.
No, this refers to the plug-in hybrids, not the mild ones. The 12v is located in the trunk and the 48v under the hood right hand side close to the windscreen.
Do all 2022-2023 C300 models carry A 001 982 81 08 part number as the 12V starter battery in the boot? I am asking because I am unable to open the cover on the boot all the way down so that I can see the part number of the battery in my car.
I am really stuck here - so would highly appreciate any help I can get. All I need to do is to connect a trickle charger to my car but I am unable to figure out what type of 12v battery i have in my 2023 c300 4matic car.
2023 EQE 500 SUV electric and 2024 Jaguar F-PACE SVR 5.0L

LOL, same with my new Jag... the only piece of information I need and its not in the owner's manual. But hey, at least you now know the official MB approved method for connecting alligator clips.
I'd just dig down to it whatever they hide it under and take a look for yourself.
the poles to charge the battery or jump start the car are easily accessible from the engine bay, no need to dig inside the trunk
Thanks. I knew this already. The problem is: my trickle charger (NOCO Genius1) has 3 different modes that I need to pick from: 12V, 12V Li-Ion, 12V AGM. In order to pick the right mode, I need to know what type of starter battery I have in my car. Hence my question regarding the part number.
This is exactly what I was looking for. Thank you so much giovane. I very much appreciate it. I have the same part number as the screenshot above (12V AGM battery). I just connected the trickle charger now. Fingers crossed. Hoping for the best.
