infotainment issues
Hey There, this is relevant or specific to the 2022 c300 models perhaps.
but not sure if this was mentioned anywhere, but I just started my car today, drove for approx. 2 min before blue diagonal lines appeared and a "scrambled" pixelated infotainment screen. What is the cause for this? Has anyone encountered it? I dont want to hear "this is what you get for a new year vehicle". We get it - I understood that purchasing. Just want info out of curiosity since dealership is telling me they dont have openings till september to take it in for service.

Nonsense. Just drive it there and insist on a loaner car. There is no way you can use the car in that condition. And if you are not comfortable driving it insist that they come tow it and supply a loaner.

Something similar happened to me after a week I purchased the car. I restarted the screen by pushing the on/off button for 15 seconds and it was fixed. I called the service to ask about it, and they told me that it is caused by a glitch on the CarPlay-phone communication. It did not happen again since then. You can see the attached image if it is the same thing happened to you.

Yes, this is an Apple CarPlay issue and existed in the previous generation of cars, as well. Usually, rebooting your phone and/or updating iPhone software will solve the problem.
