Lower Front Bumper on 2022 c300?

Hey Everyone,

Just picked up my new c300 and I got the night package on it. I noticed the front bumper is lower than my previous 2020 c300. Going onto driveways, it rubs unless I go really slow. A lot slower than I did with my 2020 c300 with a night package as well.

Is it just me or is anyone else having to adjust to the lower front bumper?

Thanks for the time!

I saw it on this video at minute 3:50, I couldn't believe it. Now I'm concerned I ordered the AMG package

Thanks a lot for providing the video. This is the exact same situation I occur and the sound is the same too!

I sent this video to the dealership. Hopefully they have some insight.

AMG version is lower than non AMG. Too low for many driveways and roads.

It's not bumper but rubber deflectors or whatever hanging under the bumper. I guess it can come off some day if rubbing pavement regulary. Good news I assume it's much cheaper to replace than bumper .

Yeah, I have the AMG package & I have had to adjust my driving to compensate for the low front fascia. 90% of the time when I hear the car scrape over a steep part of the road or driveway, it’s actually these little plastic/rubber flaps that extend down a couple of inches in front of the front wheels. 10% of the time though, it’s the very, very bottom of the actual bumper that’s underneath the car. You won’t see these potential scrapes/scratches unless you get underneath the car.

I do my best to avoid it; for example, I’ll enter steep driveways slowly and at an angle and I drive extra careful at railroad crossings. My suggestion is to just accept that it’s going to happen from time to time and don’t let it bother you too much when it does.
