W206 engine turn off issue
I got my Mercedes W206 in this May.
I was on the highway and the red sign "Stop your car and turn off your engine" just popped up.
The accelerator didn't work and my car just stopped during driving.
It was so dangerous experience. My car stopped on the highway.
I went to the service and the advisor said it was a software issue.
they said if my car get updated then everything is going to be fine.
Can I trust them?
Do you know the cause of this problem?
I just saw Mercedes benz AU recalled the Mercedes c class. ( I'm sorry I'm not sure it's W206, sorry for the wrong information)

First, sorry for the wrong information. They just recalled Mercedes C class 2021.
Why I thought it is W206, I found this document.

I compared this document's VIN numbers with https://www.vehiclerecalls.gov.au/recalls/rec-005037 <- this document's VIN number
and the VIN numbers were matched.
I know the SAM issue is only for W206 not W205 (if It's wrong information, plz let me know)
So, I assumed that this engine issue is for the W206.
