Dealer Add-Ons?

Has anyone had to contend with unwanted dealer add-ons (paint/fabric protectors, window etching, tire nitrogen, etc.) when buying a Mercedes (especially one that was factory-ordered)?

I'll let you know my dealership experience in a couple of weeks, when I go pick up my car.

Our cars are on the same ship, and if they both come through Brunswick I'll likely get mine as you get yours, or before since I'm in Georgia.

They offered me a bunch of dealer packages (coating, window tint, gap insurance, maintenance services) but I declined all of them with a simple “no thanks”, and they were not pushy at all.

They offered me nearly $10K (!) worth of add-ons and the finance guy was a little pushy about them, though not beyond my power to say no. As part of the deal they threw in the $639 "Dent Protection" for free "because I had to wait so long". I did buy the Prepaid Maintenance as well for $2820, as I plan to use only the dealer for maintenance during the car's warranty period.
