Rear controls is part of the 5? zone climate control I think as for no seat massage they probably want to bump us up to E-Class despite competitors like audi having it in the A4 or A5? That said BMW doesn't have it in the 3-series I think? I wonder if the massage in the W206 is really good enough or we need at least E-Class for them to give a quality massage?

The 3 series doesn’t offer it. The 3 also doesn't offer ventilated seats, at least it didn’t in the pre-facelift, not too sure about post-facelift.

I’ve heard the massaging seats are alright as they are air based and not whatever ball robotic thing they have in the E and S class. They even offered massaging seats in the w205 in Europe. I was really hoping they’d change their mind and bring it over the the US for the W206 and I was a bit let down when they didn’t, considering the A4 offers it. Another thing I was let down about was them omitting RWS from the US. It wasn’t available in Europe until MY2023.5 because of the chip shortage, so it’s new for them. This made me hopeful for MY2024 in the US, but alas they let us down, again. Maybe we will get it in the refresh this time? Idk, or maybe they’ll keep it as an AMG only thing like they’ve done before.

I remember in Europe on the W205 the C300 was available with a “sports exhaust” option which contained a flap in the mufflers that opened in sport mode. What resulted was more noise and the cool “farts” on upshift. The refreshed cars with the M264 motor had light pops when you let off the accelerator too. In fact, 2015 US W205 C300s had it as standard. However they chose to completely omit it for 2016-2021, not even offering it as an option. They said they did it to protect C450/43 AMG sales. I had a 2015, the exhaust was super fun, and I miss it on my 2020.

The pops is to keep the turbos spinning, I guess because the C 43 exist or they think having it was too sporty for the C 300. That said, BMW has it on their 330i, so no excuse for Mercedes, or do they?

Hmm my US spec 2016 c300 didn't. But once I got my 2020 c43, I had it.

Yeah they probably did it to make sure buyers saw the added sportiness of the C43. I was always a bit jealous of the 330i exhaust, but hey at the end of the day I preferred the way the C300 drove soo…

I see fair enough, oh well in a perfect world, you would have the best of both worlds in one package...

Finally something for the C 63 S E Performance @Mayur999 not the Canadian DOG but at least something to look at I guess while you wait.
