I believe you are talking about a different issue, the one about the loose hinge screw:

IDK both issues seems conflated with the same problem

My car doesn't technically fall under the code I guess - but it's right on the date cusp so maybe the cut off is just a little gray.
They aren’t sure if the door misalignment is the cause of the creaking but the tech did confirm he heard something. They mentioned it could potentially be in the headboard area as that is another complaint for this generation? Not sure, but they confirmed they’ll find it and take care of it. Will follow up with what they say.

Other than that, if anyone else takes their car into the dealer for this same weather stripping issue make sure they order the chrome/gloss black trim that goes at the bottom of the window for the rear left door. As part of the repair for the weather stripping they have to take that piece of trim off, and when they do it has a very strong chance of breaking the clips so the original piece can't be put back on. So essentially this repair requires 2 parts to complete. I've included the part numbers below:
Sealing Rail - 206-730-31-00
Window Trim Molding - 206-690-67-00-27

Seems Mercedes has own solution for seals, based on Krytox GPL-105. MB part number is A0009893660. Same thing is also available for VAG cars, and it's cheaper. Part number G052172A1.
So order either one (MB, VAG or Krytox GPL-105) and use this for all door seals. In my case most noisy one was actually the one mentioned in this topic, on the b-pillar outer trim.
Use very small amount of this "grease" and spread it over the seals using some sponge. It doesn't need much.
Now best thing is, that in theory it's one time application. Do it once and you never have to do it again, unless... someone will wash your seals with i.e. alcohol based cleaner or uses some kind of silicone on it.
Seemingly MB is using it in factory and itshould last, but again, wrong treatment of the seals will wash it off eventually and cause creaks.
Oh, and before applying this wash your seals carefully with something based on alcohol, to remove of remainings of this Wurth or anything else you might've used on the seals vefore. Once washed just apply GPL-105 and enjoy silence.

Please tech a look at my post https://mbworld.org/forums/c-class-w...-sticking.html
I wasn't aware of this bulletin. Is this the misalignment it is referring to?

is there a list of TSBs anywhere, would be interesting to see what else they've issued bulletins about
