i recently bought a w206 t modell c class from a mercedes benz dealer with 22k kilometers. All went good for the first week. I then got a “camera view restricted” message which i managed to figure out is caused by offgassing and fogging between the cameras and the windshield. This causes some features like digital light, auto steering and collision detection to stop working. I spoke with the dealer and they said they ordered a replacement part so i am currently waiting on that. In the meanwhile other issues have come up. The blind spot monitor, distronic, lane change assist, “tempomat” and emergency brake assist are all faulty and disabled. In other words, i have a almost brand new car loaded with driver assistances that i currently can not use due too some sort of problem. The sensors are clean. What could be causing all these problems? Keep in mind that this was a demo vehicle and they told me it was not used for some time.

They all seem to be related to the same cameras with the exception of the emergency stop which will use the radar module behind the bumper I think but it might use the camera as well.
I think they added a heater at some point so that might be the new updated part unless they think it could be an actual fault.
