Mushy brakes

Love my W206 but one part I am not that thrilled about is the mushy brakes. Soft and very mushy. It does stop when it needs to but just way too mushy for me, compared to my other MBs. My W213 and R172 have strong brakes that bite and have good pedal travel, but not the W206. Is this typical for your W206 or something I should take back to the dealership to check out? Thx for your feedback.

ever had fluid change per B service?

Might just need to be bled of any potential air in lines

As mentioned, mushy could have to do with the brake fluid but the W206 has the 48V mild hybrid system and the regen so that also affects the brake feel (I think?)

Car has only 18K miles and just purchased this year as CPO. I’ll drive it to my local MB shop and have them look at the brake line if it needs bleeding. Thanks for your feedback.

I test drove the W214 E class also with the 48V mild hybrid and the brakes were not mushy. So it may not have to be about this feature. I’ll get MB dealership to take a look. Thanks

Okay never mind, sorry about that then it has nothing to do with the regen, as the W214 does have the 48V mild hybrid system, your decision of taking it to the dealership is a good idea then. Please keep us posted on what they found for our curiosity and for those who come across your thread with the same problem, if you don't mind.
