No Mild Hybrid Nightmares like 2023+ GLC?

We've probably all seen the nightmares going on with 2023+ GLCs with no start issues due to what is believed to be the mild hybrid system. I've been looking at both a new W206 or a new GLC, and am surprised to only see this issue appear to be a problem on the GLC, and not the similar C class.

Does the W206 not suffer from this same issue plaguing the new GLC?

The W206 also has the same 48V mild hybrid system but thankfully there are not many reports on issues with it on the forums, at least I don't see them as much as the X254. So that might be a good thing?

Right, that's why I was wondering since they have the same mild hybrid system AFAIK. I guess maybe they aren't the same, or the issues plaguing the X254 are not mild hybrid related? Seems weird that one is having huge issues while another is not since one is just the sedan version of the SUV and vice-versa. Either way, good to see this issue is apparently not an issue on the W206.

The main issue for the W206 especially the 2022 model year was water getting into the SAM frying things when tinting, but that was resolved in the following model year and through recalls by installing a cover.

Yes I agree it is weird that both vehicles are very similar yet the X254 has electrical issues. From what I read on the forum it was mainly some grounding issue and then there are some software issues, not sure why but apparently the W206 don't use that same exact software version.
