This is a concise but very informative review of the engine and technology in our car. In a way, I’m impressed with how much technology and complexity is designed into this engine but agree that it produced the results that they wanted. I do have concern that all of these multiple systems will function correctly for 200,000 miles and still be reliable - it seems that small variations in any of the dozen systems will produce issues and errors. Still - an engineering masterpiece to make a basic 2 liter, 4 cylinder feel like a 6 cylinder and yet provide 40+ MPG on the highway.
