Is this common that after the MBUX update the EQ Icon on dash (between Power/Charge) disapiring?

Most if not all 2023 or was it 2024 model year vehicles no longer have this EQ icon on when new. MB is phasing out the "EQ" marketing as evident on the electric G wagen called G 580 instead of EQG. Naturally that is what they are doing with vehicles already on the road, removing it with a software update.
