Comfort Data Volume
My 12months ran out on Monday, and if I go into the Mercedes Benz App the only option I have is to renew the Entertainment Package as a whole, however as this still has 2 years to run I get a message telling me it's unavailable. I get the same message if I try to renew using the MBUX Store app. I've got a ticket open with Mercedes regarding this and their only solution has been to take out a data contract with Vodafone directly. Great idea, except 1 month direct with Vodafone is almost as expensive as 12months of the Entertainment Package.
My case is a bit different, however in the same way my comfort data volume is not working, and i cannot extend entertainment package as everything else is still active.
I've been calling them daily for an update, and it was only on the last call when I asked them to raise a complaint, they finally said it would be possible to cancel the whole Entertainment Package so I could resubscribe.
My last email was left without reply, so i guess they closed the ticket before i replied, hence they haven't even seen it.
Will call them again and propose what they proposed to you. I thought if it in the very beginning as the only solution - they cancel subscription and i can buy new one. I'm 100% sure they can technically do it, question is if they will be willing to.
At the moment i'm actually not desperate to do this, as in Poland, where i live, previously they had different subscription. As there was a lot of confusing information in the internet, i have enabled that old subscription, which is directly from their local internet provider. A while ago they changed something again, so i cannot even pay for that. Because of that each month i'm getting "curtesy data package" from the provider, so my internet works. But i don't know for how long it will work, so one day i have to get it sorted.
